The National Bank of Georgia has announced new official exchange rates.

Following trading on July 1, the U.S. dollar depreciated against the Georgian lari, with the official exchange rate falling to 2.6431 GEL, compared to the previous rate of 2.6444 GEL.

The euro also weakened, with its exchange rate declining to 3.0123 GEL, down from the previous 3.0141 GEL.

The Turkish lira also lost value, with its exchange rate standing at 0.0566 GEL.

The exchange rates determined as a result of today's trading will come into effect on July 2.
