The official visit of Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the Republic of Tajikistan has begun.

An official welcoming ceremony for the head of government was held at Dushanbe International Airport. Irakli Kobakhidze was received by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kokhir Rasulzoda.

The national anthems of the two countries were performed. The prime ministers introduced members of their respective governments to each other.

The Prime Minister of Georgia arrived in Tajikistan together with a delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songhulashvili, Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Jorjoliani.
