TAV Georgia, the managing entity of Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports, continues to lead in integrating cutting-edge technologies aimed at enhancing passenger services. Most recently, Tbilisi International Airport has launched the automated passenger boarding system, E-Gate.
This innovative system streamlines the boarding process by automatically checking boarding passes, thus accelerating passenger flow, reducing queues, and improving overall passenger comfort. The E-Gate system was implemented in collaboration with TAV Technologies—one of the global leaders in information technology—and Easier (IER), a French company renowned for its high-quality transportation solutions.
Additionally, TAV Georgia has already successfully integrated automatic self-check-in and car parking systems at the airport, in partnership with TAV Technologies and Easier (IER), which have been operational for several months. Looking ahead, the managing company plans to continue investing in digitalization and service enhancement projects to further improve the passenger experience at Tbilisi and Batumi International Airports.
