The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, has left for a visit to the Republic of Turkey, to the city of Istanbul.

The Speaker of Parliament will take part in the 152nd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), where he is scheduled to deliver a speech. Shalva Papuashvili will also hold high-level meetings in Istanbul.

The Georgian delegation, led by the Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, includes: the Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, Nikoloz Samkharadze, and the Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Maia Bitadze.
