Lopota Spa Resort has inaugurated a new hotel building, which includes two modern conference halls with a capacity of 200 people. Maka Ghligvashvili, the commercial director of the hotel, shared the news with "Business Partner," noting that this is the 16th building in the complex. The new addition features 80 rooms, including 74 premium double rooms and 6 luxury suites.
According to Ghligvashvili, the building also boasts its own pool and bungalow.
In addition, the resort will open an aqua park called Green Aqua on June 15, designed for the enjoyment of both adults and children. A jazz club is set to open at the end of July.
These new facilities are situated separately at the back of the hotel area, which spans a total of 60 hectares. The investment for all three new attractions amounts to 30 million GEL.
Ghligvashvili expressed optimism about the upcoming summer season, expecting high occupancy rates. Bookings have already commenced, with significant interest from both local and international tourists. Currently, the hotel is 70% booked, with most guests being local tourists. However, there is also substantial interest from visitors from Israel, Gulf countries, Kazakhstan, and more.
Lopota Spa Resort has been operating since 2008. Located in Kakheti near Lopota Lake, it is one of the first resort-type hotel complexes in the region. Today, Lopota Spa Resort boasts a total of 311 hotel rooms.
