Lasha Magradze, who previously served as First Deputy Head of the State Security Service, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia.
Lasha Magradze is a lawyer by profession. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, as well as Columbia University Law School.
Over the years, he has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors.
Magrაძე has 20 years of experience in areas including criminal justice, the penitentiary system, the judicial system, judicial training, anti-corruption efforts, the rule of law and human rights. He has actively cooperated with international partners on institutional and programmatic reforms in the justice sector.
