Kolkheti National Park has won an annual competition in the tourism and hospitality sector. This year, five protected areas in Georgia participated in the National Tourism Awards. The winner was selected by a jury comprising Georgian and international experts.

Kolkheti National Park is one of Georgia’s outstanding natural heritage sites. It encompasses the Colchic rainforests and wetlands included on the UNESCO World Natural Heritage List and is distinguished by its exceptional biodiversity.

The park offers visitors the opportunity to explore Kolkheti’s unique wetland ecosystems. Guests can take boat or pontoon trips on Lake Paliastomi and the Pichori River, as well as observe a wide variety of bird species.

The National Tourism Awards have been held since 2015. Their aim is to recognise successful initiatives and outstanding achievements in the tourism and hospitality sector.
