In the second quarter of 2025, revenues from travel (tourism) in Georgia increased by 5.0% year-on-year, reaching a record high for the second quarter — USD 1,145.0 million.

Revenues from travel (tourism) for January–June of the current year also rose by 3.8% compared to the same period last year, totaling a record sum of nearly USD 2 billion (USD 1,971.0 million).

Tourism revenues in Q1–Q2 of 2025 exceeded the pre-pandemic figures for the same period in 2019 by 35.4%.

In Q2 2025, tourism revenues from the following countries saw significant growth:

European Union — an increase of USD 35.9 million (26%), totaling USD 173.9 million;

Israel — an increase of USD 18 million (16.4%), totaling USD 127.7 million;

Azerbaijan — an increase of USD 16 million (42.3%), totaling USD 54 million;

Saudi Arabia — an increase of USD 5.2 million (20.9%), totaling USD 30.1 million;

Armenia — an increase of USD 5 million (15.1%), totaling USD 37.8 million.

Overall, for the first two quarters of the year, a notable rise in tourism revenues was recorded:

From Israel — up by USD 66.4 million (37.9%), reaching USD 241.9 million;

From the EU and the UK — up by USD 30.7 million (12.5%), reaching USD 277.0 million;

From Azerbaijan — up by USD 24.1 million (30.7%), reaching USD 102.6 million;

From Saudi Arabia — up by USD 6.2 million (18.9%), reaching USD 38.8 million;

From Armenia — up by USD 1.8 million (2.8%), reaching USD 66.0 million.
