On February 13, 2026, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Bochorishvili, participated in a panel discussion titled: “Defining the Strategic Order of Eurasia: The Middle Corridor as a European Security Agenda for Stability, Peace, Security, and Connectivity.”
The minister focused on Georgia’s role in the development of the Middle Corridor and emphasized the importance of strengthening connectivity, as well as the vision that views the Middle Corridor not only as a transport route but also as a safe, fast, and efficient economic bridge.
Georgia’s strategic geographic location and its open economic policy were also highlighted, which turn the country into an irreplaceable hub connecting Europe and Asia.
The discussion was attended by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Odile Renaud-Basso.
The panel was moderated by Dr. Meysun Zeyn al-Din, Director of the Academy of International Affairs (NRW).
